Hsin-Yu Cheng is a PhD researcher in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore and a member of the Urban Analytics Lab. She holds an MSc in Geomatics for the Built Environment from Delft University of Technology. Her previous research focused on extracting structured roof geometry from remote sensing imagery by integrating deep learning and spatial optimization. Her research interests include urban remote sensing, computer vision, and building reconstruction, with a particular focus on developing image-based methods for deriving structured representations of buildings and the built environment.
