Mahmoud is a Postdoc research fellow at the NUS Urban Analytics Lab. He holds a background in Architectural Engineering from Mansoura University in Egypt and earned his PhD in the Built Environment from NUS. His primary research focus lies in spatial-temporal data analytics within the built environment, with a focus on human-building interaction and wellbeing. Mahmoud’s research interests encompass Graph Neural Networks, Spatial-temporal data analytics, Digital twins, and BIM. Furthermore, Mahmoud has successfully launched SpaceMatch, a spin-off company from NUS, specializing in data-driven digital-twin technology for workplace strategic optimization. He is contributing to the GeoAI and digital twin research themes at the Lab.
