Marcel IGNATIUS is a Senior Research Fellow at Urban Analytics Lab, with architecture and building science background. He holds a PhD and MSc from the Building Department, National University of Singapore. His main research works deal with urban micro-climatic study and its relation with energy performance in urban areas. He has been involved in research projects on urban heat island (UHI) mitigation, outdoor thermal comfort, urban climatic mapping, and remote sensing. Marcel has rich experience in utilizing geospatial data to explore micro-climate analysis and mapping out UHI phenomenon. He has integrated multiple disciplinary subjects from architecture, building science, and micro-climate fields in conducting his research works. His list of publication can be found here.
