Yijie Gao (Reed) is a beginner researcher with a background in urban planning, interested in developing original novel deep learning models and applying them to urban analytics. His current focus includes GeoAI, multimodal urban perception framework, unsupervised learning and deep graph neural network clustering for analyzing cities from large-scale spatial and social data. He has interned at Zhejiang Urban and Rural Planning Design Institute Co., LTD, in both the No.1 Branch and the Information and Digital Resources Department for planning AI tool development and advanced spatial analysis.
