The papers from 3D GeoInfo 2023 are published

We contributed to this conference with two papers, which are now available in a book that is part of the Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography.

The 18th International 3D GeoInfo Conference 2023 took place in Munich, Germany on 13-14 September 2023. It was hosted by the Chair of Geoinformatics at the Technical University of Munich led by Professor Thomas H. Kolbe. We have a blog post about it.

Now the papers from the conference have been published by Springer, as a book Recent Advances in 3D Geoinformation Science (edited by Thomas H. Kolbe, Andreas Donaubauer, Christof Beil), which is part of the series: Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography (LNGC). The Proceedings of the 18th 3D GeoInfo Conference, featuring 51 papers, is available here. We thank the editors for their dedicated work and liaising with the publisher.

Two papers of ours were published and presented at the conference:

Lei B, Su Y, Biljecki F (2024): Humans As Sensors in Urban Digital Twins. In: Kolbe TH, Donaubauer A, Beil C (eds) Recent Advances in 3D Geoinformation Science, pp. 693-706. 3DGeoInfo 2023. Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography. Springer, Cham. 10.1007/978-3-031-43699-4_42 PDF

Van der Vaart J, Stoter J, Diakité A, Biljecki F, Arroyo Ohori K, Hakim A (2024): Assessment of the LoD Specification for the Integration of BIM-Derived Building Models in 3D City Models. In: Kolbe TH, Donaubauer A, Beil C (eds) Recent Advances in 3D Geoinformation Science. 3DGeoInfo 2023, pp. 171-191. Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography. Springer, Cham. 10.1007/978-3-031-43699-4_11 PDF

This first paper, led by Binyu Lei, was awarded the best paper of the conference. 🏆
